Wesley Lui - Director, Chair, Standards
Wesley is Co-founder and Director of Operations at House of Cool Studios. He is a graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University with a degree in economics and has worked for three chartered banks in commercial lending and investment advisor positions. Previous positions also include Finance Manager for VFC Inc. and Director of Operations for Nickadeomus Holdings. Most recently, Wes played an integral role in structuring the acquisition of high-end CG studio Red Rover by House of Cool, leading negotiation and valuation of the deal. Wes is now acting President of Red Rover/On Masse Inc.
Wes is honoured to be nominated for a board position at CASO and looks forward to contributing to the growth of animation as a pillar industry in Canadian entertainment, as well as fostering the development of productive relationships between government officials and key industry players. He is a strong advocate of CASO's cause and has been an enthusiastic supporter of the dramatic steps the organization has taken to generate issue awareness and positive change within the industry's regulatory and financial environment.
Wes looks forward to continuing the extraordinary work of CASO and its membership to bring Canadian animation to new heights.
