The Department of Foreign Affairs and CASO would like to thank everyone for attending the presentation on December 16th, 2013 with Jean Higgins, Producer on Lost. The presentation was well attended and very informative. The Stephen Gallery & Camera Bar provided the perfect intimate setting for the stimulating discussion on Production Management. It was truly a rewarding experience to hear and be present amongst one of the industry`s best Producers. The atmosphere of the evening and the small gathering of guest was the perfect setting for introductions, B2B and socializing with industry professionals.
Jean Higgins was an engaging speaker that captivated the audience with her knowledge, experience, background and professionalism in the industry. Her presentation on LOST from Production to Post was a great insight to the development of the show. It was enlightening to hear her view on how the show started, the development of certain scenes and the various techniques and tools used.
CASO hopes to continue providing stimulating discussions from award winning producers in the upcoming term. It is our mandate to promote the interests of our members and grow the computer animation & visual effects industry in Ontario with the support of government and private sector partners.
